Even <strong>a slight difference can mean a difference of several centimetres on a large project<\/strong>. So it&#8217;s important to make the necessary adjustments to get the desired effect for your final project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #223369;\">Going back to the concrete example of the sample presented above, here are <strong>3 situations you may encounter with your knitted sample<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #223369;\">If you find 21 stitches over 10 cm, <strong>your knitting is too tight<\/strong>. Try knitting a new sample with a higher needle number and larger needles (4.5 mm).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #223369;\">If you find 19 stitches over 10 cm, <strong>your knitting is too loose<\/strong>.
